Online Course Development Grant
The purpose of this $2000 grant is to support the development of new online courses to be taught in the Summer. Courses can be an adapted version of a regularly-offered face-to-face course, or a new course entirely. Faculty who are awarded the grant are obligated to: 1) provide a preliminary course syllabus by Friday, February 13, 2015 for linking to the summer course schedule; 2) attend a meeting/workshop with the Director of the Center for Digital Media to coordinate technology support; 3) offer the course in one of the summer sessions immediately following the awarding of the grant. (Department Chairs will need to approve offering the course for it to be on the Summer schedule.) The application deadline is Monday, December 22, 2014. A copy of the final syllabus and a brief report on how the class fared is due to Anne Kugler, AAVP for Faculty Development, on August 31, 2015.
